1. you can say the same for bowser (who actually destroys a full shield btw) but he still had his move completely in tact in transition from smash 4 to ultimate, works exactly the same minus the ADDED spike 2. the armor from kirby's down b has hp like the fire hydrant and on top of that you can grab him out of it

iirc it was changing a hitbox value on shield hit so the ground hitbox could conncet

imma just put my ideas here in my head the video would go something like this intro/main point: stone doesn't work why? grounded hit doesn't hit shields if the aerial hit also hit first (show clip) why is this a problem? show similar moves and smash 4 stone disproving reasons why it may have been intentional section: see pins for bowser comparisons there's nothing in the scripts that shows that the landing hit isn't meant to hit shields if the aerial hit connects it's technically possible for the grounded and aerials hits to both hit shield under very specific conditions (show clip). If it was supposedly intentionally removed then this shouldn't be possible Conclusion: The evidence suggests that this is a bug so we believe it should be fixed. tell your friends :)

Progress. After a lot of feedback dead ends, I tried Nintendo's support chat and (bless his heart) the guy said he'd pass along the whole laundry list of Falcon problems. Guy needs a raise. He also confirmed that this is the best way to go about getting things fixed.

To summarise what the bug actually is The landing hit of stone ignores shields, armour and items after the aerial hit connects with any of them. The landing hit still exists and will hit nearby opponents, but it won't hit the shield/armour/item, despite the fact that it's meant to. This trait isn't shared with any other similar move like bowser or yoshi down b. This trait was also not displayed in any previous smash games, or in the ult demo.

Yeah, agree with IBZ there. Non players of a character don't have any reason to root for another character getting buffs, so it has to be very obvious that it's not just us wishing Kirby was better. In my video I made about problems with Kirby, I got lots of negative comments even about things like lylat missing the edge. People saying things like "well just ban lylat, problem solved."

I've already given my view The data viewer (which is where the 'code' is being sourced from) might not be something that Nintendo likes, since you're literally looking at the game's code bc of that, and the fact that it's not even necessary to illustrate the main point of the video, I don't think it would be good to include code within the video

As for modded footage, ye ofc that shouldn't be in the video either. I don't think that one needs any explanation
